Independant Certification - Quality Assurance

Clada was the first Irish bottled water company to achieve the BRC (British Retail Consortium) Food Standard (Higher Level), a standard which is utilized by global companies supplying retail branded food products.  The BRC Food Standard is independently audited annually to ensure compliance and guarantee Quality Assurance.

Clada also adheres to the EIQA's Q-Mark Standard.  The Q-Mark programme necessitates an Independent Assessment carried out by an experienced assessor who undertakes an onsite evaluation of the organisation's compliance against the standard as well as identifying best practices and evidence of commitment to continuous improvement.

Clada operates a HACCP system which is, first and foremost, a proactive concept to ensure food safety. HACCP stands for the "Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points" system. HACCP is a systematic approach to identifying and controlling hazards that could pose a threat to the safe production of food.
