Community Spirit

Community is important - it gives us a sense of identity, of unity, of kinship and of belonging. This is particularly so in the case of a company which has grown up with its community over the past 45 or more years. The choice of a name "Clada" was deliberate - drawing on associations with the famous old fishing in village of The Claddagh in Galway.

Clada Group is proud of its origins in and links with Galway and the West of Ireland. It has over the years built up a loyal customer base throughout the city and county and constantly strives to provide its customers with good service. In the spirit of corporate and social responsibility, Clada Group endeavours to make further ties with and contributions to its local communities. This is achieved through its support and sponsorship of local groups, committees, schools, sports clubs, fund raising committees, groups, organizations and charities, all of which work hard to make a contributions to their own communities.

Local sponsorship initiatives of which Clada Group is proud to have been associated with include - Baboro Children's Festival, Camp Claddagh Chernobyl Children's Project, COPE, CROI, Druid Theatre, Galway Arts Festival, Galway Association for Mentally Handicapped, NBCRI [National Brest Cancer Research Institute and Macnas to name but a few.
